Our Homeowner Highlight with Eastbrook Homes

EBH: When did you move into your home?

S: We moved into our home on October 17th, 2020. It was the perfect 2 year wedding anniversary gift!

EBH: What home plan do you have?

S: We have the Newport, Elevation C with an extended 3rd stall garage. We left the basement unfinished for a future project that we hope to tackle this spring.

EBH: What is your decorating inspiration?

S: Our decorating style is neutral, classic and modern with a minimalist approach. I am inspired by designers such as Studio McGee and Oakstone Homes.

EBH: What are your favorite features in your home?

S: Our favorite feature is definitely our beautiful hardwood floors – they add so much warmth to our neutral home! Our favorite space is our kitchen – from the open floor plan to the oversized island, it is the perfect space for gathering and entertaining.

EBH: What was your building process/Eastbrook experience like?

S: Our building process was very smooth. Even though we broke ground just before Covid, Joe and his team did a fabulous job keeping us informed and on track. We lived very close and loved swinging by almost daily to be amazed by the progress.

EBH: What does “home” mean to you?

S: Home is a place where you can unapologetically be yourself. A place to build memories and enjoy a cozy space with family and friends.

EBH: Do you have any tips or tricks for new homeowners?

S: Hire a local moving company! We have an infant and knew that we couldn’t tackle the move on our own. We were surprised by how affordable it was and it made the unpacking process less daunting as everything was delivered to the room it belonged in!

EBH: Any other thoughts you would like to add?

S: I just want to thank Eastbrook for such an incredible experience. This is planned to be our forever home but the process was so effortless and fun that I just want to do it all over again!
